Basically this is what I'd expect to see if Stephanie Meyers were a dude when Twilight was written. The cherry on top are male villains who may be a hundred year old vampire but still soo dumb they stop and look at a pair of naked breasts when fleeing for their lives discounting any notion towards Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Really does read like a bad 80's Actions movie complete with a female lead who has to prove she has the biggest _ of all the men. This book uses so many tropes it's almost a check list of them. Sadness that it really did get worse and worse with each chapter.
